Worldwide Trophy Georgia 2016 -125 000 USD Guaranteed

The Worldwide Trophy will be held in Tbilisi from April 27 to May 1, the event will take place in “Courtyard by Marriott” .
The guaranteed prize money – 125 000 USD.
Backgammon tournament is organized by Georgian Backgammon Club, “Europe-Bet”, World Backgammon Federation and Georgian Backgammon Federation. The World Cup is supported by the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs.
Press conference was held at the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs, the media questions were answered by the tournament organizers: Mr Goderdzi Bukia- Georgian Parliament member, Deputy Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs – Mr. Shalva Gogoladze and Europe-Bet Representative Lasha Karazishvili.
The championship will be held in two categories – between teams and individual players in different categories – Masters, intermediate, women’s tournament, the doubles competition, and so on. Organizers established Guaranteed prize money of $ 125 000, different cups and trophies, medals and other prizes.
